An Outreach program Skill Card and Certificate Distribution was  organized by CFTI, Chennai on 10th September 2016 at Chidambaram, Tamilnadu. The event was held at Annamalai University Campus, about 2 kms near Chidambaram.

There were more than 500 Candidates who were awarded the ‘Skill Card & Certificates’ under PMKVY.

The program was presided over by Shri. K. Murali, Director, CFTI. The Chief Guest Shri B. Arunmozhidevan, Member of Parliament of Cuddalore was not able to attend the function due to his immediate engagement at Chennai.

Shri K.Pandian, MLA, Chidambaram, enthusiastically addressed the audience and issued certificates to the candidates. He appreciated the focus on skill development in leather sector and praised the efforts of LSSC in empowering women through skills in leather trades.

The other personalities who were present on the occasion were, Shri Ashokan Union Chairman Parangipettai, Shri R. Senthil Kumar Secretary Chidambaram, Shri K.Vimalathithan Manager-Operations and Shri Anantharaman Industrialist.

All of the candidates were highly motivated and enthusiastic about their achievement. The candidates enjoyed their lunch and posed for the pictures towards the end of the program.
