In April 2016, LSSC organized an event at Central Footwear Training Institute, Agra, to distribute certificates to the trained candidates under PMKVY project. The event was graced by honourable chairman, Council of Leather Exports, Padmasri Rafeeque Ahmed and regional chairman – North, Council of Leather Exports, and Sri. Puran Chand Dawar.  The chief guest Prof. (Dr.) Ram Shankar Katheria, honorable Minister of State, Human Resource Development distributed the certificates to the successful candidates.
